Alfonso's Adventures offers you premium guided motorcycle trips in Sri Lanka and India.
We are a family-owned business with a mixed Belgian-Sri Lankan management. Our service is personal and known "to go the Extra Mile" with their customers.
Our tours are designed for comfort, leisure and cultural value. We do not offer off-road or enduro trips. We'll show you the most interesting and valuable parts of the country and provide you with an experienced tour leader, quality meals and lodgings, and technical backup. Luggage transport from one hotel to the next is arranged. Often we stay two consecutive nights in the same place. Safe driving style and wearing a helmet is enforced. You are strongly advised to bring at least your own helmet, as quality gear is not available in Sri Lanka.
On all tours you are offered an extensive documentation package with a roadbook, maps and GPS navigation (unique in Sri Lanka). You'll also receive a mobile phone (or a pre-loaded SIM-card if you bring your own phone) to keep in touch with your tour leader. International IDD calls are possible and we keep charge cards available at nominal cost. If you plan to bring your laptop, we try to provide you with mobile internet access (but outside the larger cities connection is not guaranteed and usually very slow, only enough for email).
If possible, tours are offered with a choice of accommodation in either quality budget or first class hotels. Only in some coastal areas is luxury accommodation sometimes available.
For special occasions and company groups we also arrange custom tours.
